Visitation: Snohomish County Jail near Everett WA

Inmate Visitation

snohomish-county-jail-inmate-vistiationSnohomish County Jail inmates are allowed visits with family and friends after they have made their initial court appearance or if they are serving time.  Inmates may have up to three 50-minute visits per week.  These visits must be scheduled at least one day in advance, but not more than 14 days in advance.   Visitation occurs via video from the reception area of the jail (3025 Oakes Ave, Everett).  Social contact visits are not allowed.
How to set up a Visit – Family and Friends
Family and friends of inmates at the Snohomish County Jail must now register online to schedule inmate visits.  A valid email address is required to register.  Once registration is complete, visitors may quickly and easily schedule visits, receive email confirmation of the visits, and notification ahead of time if the inmate is unable to attend a scheduled visit.

Professional Visitation Process
Effective Monday, June 15, 2015 the jail will temporarily return to the previous email scheduling system for all professional “contact” visits that take place in our “professional visit” area.  This change is being made to address some of the concerns we have received from our professional users about the lack of flexibility needed to meet the needs of many of our professional partners. Please email the Professional Visit Request Form to [email protected] at least 4 hours in advance of the requested visit time.  We will continue to review ways to configure the new system to meet the expectation of those that use our professional visiting area.

Professionals who wish to visit an inmate using the video visit system will still be able to schedule a professional video visit through our online system.

Visiting Hours
Video visitation hours at the Snohomish County Jail are Monday through Saturday, 8:30-11:30 a.m., 12:30-2:30 p.m. and 3:00-6:00 p.m.

All visitors are asked to sign in 15 minutes prior to the scheduled visit start time.  No visits will be extended to accommodate late arrivals.

Visit Cancellations
Visitor cancelled visits: Visits must be cancelled online at least 24 hours in advance of the visit.  Failure to attend a visit without cancelling it at least 24 hours ahead of time will still count as one of the inmates allowed visits for the week.

Jail cancelled visits:  Visits are subject to change or cancellation based on operational needs and inmate movement within the jail. For example, if an inmate is moved to a new housing unit their visit may need to be rescheduled in their new unit. Every effort will be made to try and accommodate previously scheduled visits; however this may not always be possible.  Visitors will be notified by email ahead of time if their visit has been cancelled.
