VISITATION
General Requirements for visitors All visitors will wear appropriate clothing while visiting:
Visits will be made by calling 1-660-367-2200 between the hours of 9:00am to 11:00am and 1:00pm to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Visits must be scheduled 24hour in advance. Visitors on probation or parole will not be allowed to visit. Visitors under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will not be allowed to visit. Individuals who violate any of the Daviess / DeKalb Regional Jail policies will be removed from the facility and may be prohibited from any further visitation privileges. Any individual can be denied a visit with an inmate if the visit would not be in the best interest of justice, case prosecution, operation of the jail or could cause security concerns. Visitations appointments will be on a first come-first serve basis. Individuals who visit prisoners must be at least 17 years old with an accepted, up to date, identification card with a photograph. Individuals less than 17 must be accompanied by an adult and have proper identification. Individuals will be allowed only one – ½ hour visit, every 7 days. Any individual discovered delivering contraband into the facility will be prosecuted. Visitation is a privilege, not a right! Visitors are allowed to bring a picture ID, keys and money. All other items must be secured in your vehicle off site. Accommodations may be made for elderly and handicapped. |
