The Anoka County Jail uses video visitation for all social visits. Video visitation has allowed us to greatly expanded our visiting hours to better accommodate detainees, their family and friends. Visits can now take place seven days a week.
Visitors have a choice of on-site and off-site visiting. On-site visits are available at no cost to the visitor or incarcerated individual. Off-site visits are available for a $10.00 fee.
Visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. They may be scheduled either on-line or by using the scheduling terminal in the video visiting room. All video visits are recorded and may be monitored.
Please note that visitation is a privilege. The Anoka County Jail reserves the right to deny, cancel or terminate a video visit prior to or during a video session based upon visitor or inmate misconduct. Additionally, we reserve the right to restrict a visitor from participating in all future use of the system, either on-site or from remote visitation.
On-site visitors will use video visitation terminals to communicate with incarcerated individuals. Each terminal is designed to accommodate two adult visitors. Please see the visiting rules section of this website for additional information on the number of people allowed to visit at one time.
Off-site, remote or home visits are an option available to visitors. Please note that these visits require a computer, webcam and high speed internet connection. Additional information on equipment is available on the website of the video visitation provider. (See vendor contact information for additional information.)
The video visitation system used by the Anoka County jail is provided by ICSolutions. To find out additional information about the video visiting process, register for visits or address concerns please use the contact information below:
